2026-2027 Music and Arts Series Season Announcement
The 2026–2027 Music and Arts Series has already kicked off with two tremendous events: a performance by bluegrass band Monroe Crossing and an evening with acclaimed author Austin Channing Brown. And there’s much more to come!
Some upcoming season highlights include Fiction and Faith, featuring acclaimed Minnesota authors Kent Krueger, Heather Bouwman, and others who will share readings from their work and discuss the ways faith intersects with their creative lives. Icebound Night is a world premiere performance written in response to the Twin Cities’ resilience in the face of Operation Metro Surge, featuring some of the Twin Cities’ top chamber musicians. And our Beethoven Celebration will mark the 200th anniversary of his death with his monumental Choral Fantasy, performed with concert pianist Richard Tostensen, orchestra, and festival chorus. We hope
The Music and Arts Series brings exceptional and meaningful performances to the Hamline Midway neighborhood and the greater Twin Cities community. We’re always looking for programming ideas and volunteers to help with our events. Financial contributions are also greatly appreciated and have a direct impact on audience accessibility and the range of events we can offer.
We hope you’ll make plans to experience the season with us!
