It’s easy to sort people into “us” and “them” in politics, on campus, even in church. This Sunday as we celebrate Hamline University's Homecoming, we’re asking a hard question: what if following Jesus means learning to see fewer “them’s” and a bigger “us”? 

We’ll explore how God holds solitude and community, insiders and outsiders, together in one wide mercy and how we can cross some of our own lines in love. Pastor Mariah will preach and we are excited to welcome Hamline University President, Dr. Mayme Hostetter.  Music will be led by Hamline’s A Cappella Choir.

If you’ve ever felt like an outsider, or worry about the divides in our world (and who doesn’t these days?), this Sunday is for you.
