Kids at Hamline Church

Children at Hamline Church build supportive relationships with other Christian kids and adults, learn the stories and themes of the Bible, learn the practices of faith, and explore questions and issues of love, justice, service, community--and much, much more. There is a children's moment during worship, after which children exit for Sunday School. We use the Godly Play curriculum.

Godly Play

Pre-K – 6th Grade 

Children have an innate sense of the presence of God. The Godly Play approach helps them to explore their faith through story, to gain religious language and to enhance their spiritual experience though wonder and play. Based on Montessori principles and developed using a spiral curriculum, the Godly Play method gives children an opportunity to work with the Bible, rather than learn about it. Learn more about Godly Play at:
