Oliveto of the United Methodist Church Mountain Sky Area. Bishop Oliveto is the first openly LGBTQ+ Bishop in the UMC. Bishop Oliveto was elected Bishop in 2016 after serving as the first woman pastor of the 12,000-member Glide Memorial United Methodist Church in San Francisco, Calif.
