Infant - 5th Grade<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Children at Hamline Church build supportive relationships with other Christian kids and adults, learn the stories and themes of the Bible, learn the practices of faith, and explore questions and issues of love, justice, service, community--and much, much more. There is a children's moment during worship, after which children exit for Sunday School. During the school year, we use the Godly Play curriculum. During the summer months, children have the opportunity to learn about serving our neighbors by tending to our organic SPROUT garden. The children have a short Bible lesson followed by gardening, sorting and delivering produce to neighbors through the Hamline Midway Elders.<\/p>\n

Student Ministries Mission Statement: We nurture and equip children, youth, and families to grow as disciples of Christ through love, service, and inclusion, <\/span>in order to<\/span> deepen connection to God, self, and others, and positively <\/span>impact<\/span> the world.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sunday Mornings<\/h3>\n

Worship begins at 10:00am! We welcome children in worship every week \u2013 in the sanctuary, we have worship materials available for all those who like to doodle while they listen. Childcare is available during worship with our nursery staff for children 5 and under.<\/p>\n

\"Sacred<\/a>Sacred Studio<\/strong> is our spiritual formation time for children, prek-5th grade during the school year On Sundays (except for the 1st Sunday of each month) after the children\u2019s moment in worship, children can go with staff and volunteers to explore a bible story through art, music, and games. This time is focused on making space for children to know God\u2019s love!<\/p>\n
