Student Ministries Mission Statement: We nurture and equip children, youth, and families to grow as disciples of Christ through love, service, and inclusion, <\/span>in order to<\/span> deepen connection to God, self, and others, and positively <\/span>impact<\/span> the world.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sunday Mornings<\/h3>\n

Youth and their families can join us for worship on Sundays at 10am. Youth can serve as worship leaders, musicians, and leaders with Sacred Studio! Contact the church office to learn more: <\/span>humc@hamlinechurch.org<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We invite youth to sit together in the upper balcony towards the back of the sanctuary! (6<\/span>th<\/span> graders can also join the 4<\/span>th<\/span> and 5<\/span>th<\/span> graders on the main level of the sanctuary)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Confirmation<\/h2>

Confirmation at Hamline Church is a two-year program for youth in 7th grade and older to explore what it means to be part of a faith community, then make a decision for themselves about joining the church. This fall, confirmands will meet on 2nd and 4th Sundays after worship. If you\u2019d like to learn more, contact Pastor Heather Grantham (hgrantham@hamlinechurch.org<\/a>).\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>

Winter Family Retreat<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each January, we head up to Park Rapids to Northern Pines Camp for a weekend of outdoor winter fun and cozy indoor time. This fellowship weekend is open to families of all shapes and sizes! This year\u2019s retreat is January 16<\/span>-19<\/span>, 2026<\/span>. Look out for registration details in late fall!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Youth Leaders Program<\/b><\/p>\n

In the summers, youth 7th – 12th graders can apply to serve as YLP interns. They’ll craft an internship to learn about the work and ministries at Hamline, build leadership skills, and receive a stipend for their time. Application available in late spring!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n

Mission Trips<\/h2>

In the summers, Hamline Church youth go out into the world to serve, share God\u2019s love, and explore their faith in a variety of ways. They have taken expeditions into the Boundary Waters, served with communities in Chicago, New Orleans, North Carolina, and Detroit, D.C., and Duluth. If you\u2019re interested in summer trips, contact the church office to learn more (humc@hamlinechurch.org).<\/p>\n
