Community Conversations for Racial & Ethnic Reconciliation and Understanding presents: Voter Suppression in the 21st Century Jim Crow Still Lives

Saturday, March 23, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The ‘Colored and White Only’ signs may be gone, but a New Jim Crow is very much alive. These 21st Century Jim Crow laws, most of which are promoted as a means to prevent ‘voter fraud’, adversely affect the poor, the elderly, as well as African Americans and other minorities. Our forum will examine relevant laws, policies and practices across our nation and here in Minnesota. We will explore voter suppression in its various forms. Space in Limited; Free Ticket Required.
