Each Sunday morning we worship at 10 am.  The music is uplifting and the sermon is inspiring. Hamline Church United Methodist has a worshipful and historic sanctuary that enhances the spiritual life of our congregation. As United Methodists, we celebrate two sacraments; Holy Communion and Baptism. Communion is served the first Sunday of each month, and we celebrate baptisms regularly throughout the year. Following the service, enjoy refreshments while connecting with or making new friends in the Community Room. Visitors are always welcome.

Assistive Listening Devices are available during worship.

Children are always welcome in Worship

At Hamline Church, we embrace kids.  Their sounds and presence remind us of the joy, spontaneity, and awesomeness of God. You spend enough time apart during your busy week;  join us for worship as a whole family.  Worship materials (books, coloring supplies, and activity bags) are available as you enter the sanctuary from the Commons Area.  A children’s message is offered each week during worship.  After the message, children accompany adult leaders to their Sunday School classrooms.  During the summer, children may remain in worship with their families, or come outside for an active Bible lesson and to tend the garden.  On Communion Sundays, the first Sunday of every month, children stay in worship with their families so we can all gather at God’s table together.

NURSERY: For those families interested, nursery care is provided in Room 8 in the upstairs Sunday School hallway. We always have two childcare professionals staffing our nursery.

About Centering Prayer

Hamline Church has a small but devoted group who meet to pray quietly together. We are currently holding centering prayer via text message. Gatherings include scripture reading or prayer at the outset and follow up with a second message in 20 minutes; in between is silence. For more information or to sign up contact Julie Dahlke (jlddvm@usfamily.net)
