Worship is central to our life of faith at Hamline Church.
Weekly Sunday worship includes:
8:00 AM - Lectionary Bible Study/Informal Liturgy - in the Commons area
10:00 AM - Traditional Morning Worship * in the sanctuary.
The service features music for organ and choir (Sept-May).
All are invited for a time of fellowship after the 8AM service in Commons Area and after the 10:00AM service in the Fireside Room - on the lower level directly beneath the Sanctuary.
Watch for information regarding CENTERING PRAYER days and times.
* Regular Service time was changed from 9:30AM in May, 2010 after the merger of two churches (The Church of the Good Shepherd and Hamline UMC) to form Hamline Church - United Methodist - A New Christian Community.
NB: 8:30 PM - Compline [September through May]
A service of evening prayer by the Minnesota Compline Choir took place from Fall, 2007 to March, 2010 under the direction of HUMC Music Director, Charles Parsons (who retired from Compline in Spring 2009)
