Daytime visitors will find the sanctuary bathed in glorious colors from the stained glass windows. Many traditional symbols can be found in them, including cherubim and seraphim; squirrels, rabbits, birds and other creatures; lilies, roses, vines, fruit, wheat, palm branches and other plants; harps and other instruments; Old Testament prophets; musicians; parables and Bible stories; the Trinity; signs of the Hebrew eye of God; miracles; scales of justice; scrolls; torches and flames; doves for the faces of those who were raised from the dead. Titles of the sanctuary windows and names of the persons they memorialize can be found inside the back covers of the hymnals in the pews.
