The families and Sunday School teachers of Church of the Good Shepherd invited Hamline families of all ages and types to join in education and worship before attending the Pancake Breakfast.
9:30 - 10:15 Sunday School At CoGS, Sunday School classes are broken down by ages. There were classes for children from pre-K to 9th grade.
10:30 - 11:30 Worship School-aged children were encouraged to attend worship. Staffed childcare was available for children aged 2 -5 years old. A nursery was available for parents with younger children.
11:30AM-1PM Pancake Breakfast Items of historic interest from the church archives were on display. ---- Finding your way: Parking: EXTREMELY LIMITED at the Church of the Good Shepherd campus. There was shuttle service from the Minnehaha Avenue parking lots beginning at 9AM.
Once at the Marshall Ave. campus, the easiest way to get to the education wing: to enter the Church through the red door in the courtyard on the Dewey Street side of the church. Across the courtyard, through the glass door, coffee and conversation with other parents was offered.
Parents were also welcome to help set up for the pancake breakfast or practice with the choir. There were greeters and signs to help find the right rooms.

Fall, 2009
CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES Especially For Children Meet the Visitors to the Manger [cider and cookies were served prior to the service] Hamline Church held only ONE Christmas Eve service today at 4:00PM. The 10:30PM service was canceled. MnDOT advised no travel in the Twin Cities after dark as the storm was growing in intensity.
We were invited to tune in to MPR for an interview with our Music Director, Chuck Parsons. It was streamed continuously today after 3:30PM at: minnesota.publicradio.org and broadcast sometime between 4:50 and 6PM on MPR 99.5 FM
