Capital Campaign 2008-2011
Catch the Spirit and excitement as HUMC members join together to achieve the goals of our current
Capital Campaign!
The success of our Capital Campaign will ensure the integrity of the building in which we gather to worship God,
and offer many future generations the opportunity to continue fellowship through worship, spiritual growth,
life celebrations and education and service to others in our community.
Catch the Spirit of prayer and faith as we embark upon this exciting endeavor to ensure the vital future of our Church!

Roof Construction is Complete ! !
ROOF - While our slate tile roof served us well for almost 80 years, it had lived well past
its lifetime
and for several years now leaks had been numerous and increasingly worrisome when the weather
was wet!
Finally, roof removal and replacement over the main church building work was completed in December, 2008.
RESULTS of our initial Capital Campaign Drive:
As of December 1, 2008, our
pledged amount coupled with our non-pledge sources totaled about $470,000.
This amount exceeded the $450,000
estimation made in summer 2008 by our fund-raising consulting firm -
and that was when the national economy
was doing much better. It was through everyone's faith and support
that the campaign has been such a success. THANK YOU!
Now we move into the next phase of our three year campaign.
