Abundant
One, we offer you these gifts in gratitude for your steadfast
guidance
in our lives. Even as we thank you for the freedom to live and worship
in
this great country, we recognize that much of the world does not share
the
abundance and freedom that we enjoy. We pray that these resources
will
provide ministries to the suffering, food to the hungry, hope to the poor,
a
spiritual presence to the needy. In the name of the one who lived and died
and
now lives again for our sake, Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen

VISION
GATHERINGS
The
merger discussions with Church of the Good Shepherd are entering a new phase
this
summer. You are invited to sign up
for one of the small group gatherings where
we
will talk and pray and dream together, where we will examine our history and
current
reality and share ideas for the future.
The
Church of the Good Shepherd is participating in the same process. Depending
on the
results of the summer meetings, a recommendation will be made to each Church
Council
about a vote that will be taken at a Church Conference in each church to be
held
in October.
You
can sign up for a small group gathering on Sundays during coffee hour, or you
can
call the office during the week.
